When the swell arrived on Saturday 24th April it was huge and out of control, but Sunday morning saw the swell settle to a thick 6 to 8ft surf on the bluff. Cave had some bombs but no one out??? Where is the “DON’T LIVE DON’T SURF HERE “ hardcore crowd??? - Well that photo opportunity gone. I settled at Ansteys from around 8am and saw some cookers with at least one board in bits, I managed a few shots before the swell started dropping with the east all over it. - HOW I wish for that 500mm Lens...
